Texas Transactional Attorney Attorney Ruth Brock

At the Law Office of Ruth Brock, I focus on the transactional needs of my clients. I prepare and review documents, provide business and personal advice, help prevent disputes, and help resolve disputes. I limit my practice to transactional law and choose not to be involved in contested matters so that I can be available to my clients for day-to-day concerns.

Board Certified-Residential and Commercial Real Estate

I am board certified in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This designation indicates that I have met the rigorous standards of special knowledge, experience, and practice emphasis established for those fields.

Real Estate Law

Commercial real estate transactions increasingly require the use of a professional attorney to navigate the environmental issues, municipal and county regulations, survey certifications, title endorsements, and title curative issues that are involved. With 32 years in private practice, I have the experience and the background to provide the counsel you need in your commercial real estate transactions.

Estate Planning and Wills

Whether your needs are simple or complex, I will help you prepare a comprehensive estate plan which assures that your estate is handled the way you want, both during your lifetime and after your death. The tools we use to create an estate plan customized for your needs include Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Directives to Physicians and a host of tax-saving and asset protection devices.

Probate

Upon the death of a friend or loved one, many questions can arise. Perhaps you just need to have those questions answered, or maybe a bank or stock broker has told you that "Letters Testamentary" or another probate procedure is required. I can answer your questions if that's all you need or guide you through a full court probate procedure.

Business Law

Launching and operating a successful business involves more than entrepreneurial spirit. The right entity must be selected, formed, and properly maintained to protect your personal and business assets. Well-crafted contracts can validate your business with both customers and lenders. I take pride in my clients' businesses and use my knowledge and experience to help protect you, your business, and your reputation.
